I was there the day a fight broke out that caused Fontaine Ferry Park to close. Or at least the start of it. My sister Vickie had taken My brother Jackie and me "Sherry" to the park, We had rode in the sugar bowl.

I also remember the house of Mirrors, you would be tall and then short, and the sugar bowl did scare me when the bottom would drop out. My sister had put her leg on my neck joking, I also fell at the pool.I was 7 .

How can I list all the memories I have of F.F.Park? My Grandad, William Fount Winkler ran KiddyLand, so guess who got to ride a lot for free? I was there so much from 1953-1957..the sawdust to walk on...I LOVED it~
